Welcome and Introduction

As our children graduate from the great Archbishop Ryan High School, we too graduate and suddenly become Alumni Parents. Too often the fond memories of the times we as Marching Band parents had once experienced and the great friends we've made through the activity fade with time.
The Marching Band does continue on with new parents, new students and new staff. Did you know you CAN RETURN as an ASSOCIATE MEMBER of the association? All it takes is a short note, phone call or email to the current Secretary, Maureen Scallatino. Although we cannot vote on any matters, we can still attend the meetings just to see what's going on and offer positive suggestions.
You might say, "I have better things to do than attend a Band Parent Meeting..." We certainly understand that but hope you feel welcome to come back at any time and support the fundraisers or even lend a hand when able. You'll be surprised how things haven't really changed that much! Props and equipment are still loaded into a truck and brought on and off the field at football games and competitions. Sewing flags for the color guard is still an important task too. And yes we still feed the members "Marching Meals" once the competitions begin.
Come to a meeting, a practice, a
competition, a football game or a fundraiser. We'd love to see you
again!

As you know the increasing cost of
private education has often made it difficult for extra-curricular
activities
like Marching Band to survive. There are no fees to be an "Associate
Member" but we are always welcome to donations of any kind from
corporations, Alumni Parents or friends of music and performing arts.
These
donations will be used to directly support and offset the cost of
being in the Marching Band. If you can donate you will receive a
receipt to
be used for tax purposes. Send a check payable to “ARIMBA”
